The formal gardens has been a staple of OSU over the last many decades. While originally constructed in 1947, the gardens were remodeled in 1998 and have been consistently managed each year. Additionally, the gardens feature the 100 year monument and the 1978 bicentennial Time Capsule which will not be opened until 2076.
